Epirubicin Hydrochloride for Injection 50mg

DESCRIPTION

It works by inhibiting nucleic acid & protein synthesis (DNA
and RNA) by Inhibition of Topoisomerase II. It forms
complexed with DNA by intercalation between base pairs due
to high-affinity binding to DNA, It also interferes with DNA
replication and transcription by inhibiting DNA helicase
activity by binding on top of the cell membrane. Hence, it
effects the fluidity of the membrane & causes the generation of
free radicals.
